What People Are Saying
Rabbi Jonathan officiated our wedding in 2019. My husband, who isn’t Jewish and was unsure about a religious ceremony, was immediately put at ease by Jonathan’s warmth, humor, and open-minded approach. He created a ceremony that was deeply meaningful, educational, and uniquely us; so much so that many guests said it was the most educational and entertaining wedding they'd ever attended. Jonathan took the time to truly listen to our wishes, offered thoughtful alternatives, and explained each tradition in a way that made us feel connected, not just to the moment, but to the meaning behind it. Beyond being an incredible officiant, Jonathan became a trusted friend and mentor, knowing him is a gift.

You are a bright light, a teacher, a mentor, bridge builder, a leader, and a friend to many.
You are a blessing to all of us.

"Our very first encounter with Rabbi Freirich was when he officiated at our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding in Yosemite National Park. We spent the entire weekend together and shared both a beautiful Havdalah service crafted by Jonathan as well as a very special and meaningful wedding ceremony. Many years later he officiated baby namings for two of our grandchildren and even visited our daughter-in-law’s father in the ICU many times. His caring has touched our family in so many ways."
